We Love You So found this amazing clip of Mr. Rodgers passionately speaking before the US Senate in 1969 to help prevent cuts to PBS’s funding.
Fred Rodgers is a true class act. I feel like nowadays very few public figures are as inherently good as him. Mr. Rodgers truly cared about helping children and having a positive impact in their lives. He didn’t care about fame, or fortune just making a difference and for that an entire generation of children and the world is better for his efforts.
