Adam Yauch died today at 47. The Beastie Boys were one of the first bands that I was obsessed with and I was lucky enough to get to see them when they were touring in 1998 (and man did they put on a hell of a show).

This might not be a well known song but it’s probably one of the few songs that MCA ever sang on and also one of the Beasties prettiest songs (which there also aren’t many of). For some reason when I heard that he died it was the first song that I thought of. So let’s all remember Adam and celebrate all the amazing years of music, videos (he directed a bunch as Nathaniel Hornblower) , and charity (the man started the Free Tibet Concerts) that he gave us.
