A few years ago me and my friends did a sketch show at UCB called Thirty:30 where we did thirty sketches in 30 minutes. Prank war was one of the videos we made for the show. Oh and in case you’re interested in what a whole Thirty:30 show was like you can check out a video of the version of the show that we did at the Comedy Central stage back in March of 2009 right here.

Looks like Tiger Woods has lived out my 12 year old dreams and hooked up with Holly Sampson who played Teri on the episode of Wonder Years where Kevin and family go on vacation and he makes out with an older girl. Oh and what has Holly been up to since The Wonder Years other than boning Tiger? Porn. Thank god Winnie Cooper kept it (kinda) classy.

If you haven’t read Asterios Polyp yet I highly recommend adding it to your Chanukah/Christmas wish list. Written and drawn by David Mazzucchelli (who’s best know for his two collaboration with Frank Miller, Batman: Year One and Daredevil: Born Again) it tells the story of an architect Asterios Polyp who after an accident leaves his life to start anew in a rural town. At the same time the book flashes back to show the relationship between Asterios and his (ex) wife. Mazzucchelli works in a variety of styles throughout the book helping to highlight the varied emotional states reflected in various scenes. If you’re a fan of Chris Ware’s Jimmy Corrigan this book has a similar feel but deals with themes of middle age, while JImmy Corrigan dealt more with youth and old age.

So basically I recommend you go read this. Even if you don’t care for comics you’ll like it.

Dear mel
Well, here we are at the stinky
Seaside Hotel in (the) aquarium. The weather is wonky
and the temperature is 24
degrees. Our hotel room looks out onto a garden filled with marzipan
trees and tropical penises. The natives are all fatty
and spend their time crocheting
and riding their socks
through the streets. Most of them only speak Tagalog , but I can communicate by making signs with my two hole. The local food is really danty. Mostly they eat awful
burritos and refried falafels. Our hotel only costs a hundred scabies
a day. We are going to spend the week farting and then come home. Wish you were here.
